Fountain of Youth is a natural energy drink made from pure coconut water. It is a brand of the Berlin scene hotel Michelberger. We wanted to demonstrate how live sound branding can be used to impressively showcase both the product and the brand identity of the product at marketing events or trade fairs. This idea resulted in a video film.
As part of the profiling process we first looked for acoustic attributes to the name "Fountain of Youth". The brand mascot in combination with the name of the brand gave us the idea to create an acoustic jungle in which the "Fountain of Eternal Youth" is at home. Monkey sounds, rippling water, and exotic birdsong in a tropical rainforest formed the soundscape that runs through the entire music.
To create an emotional connection to the brand we covered a rather well known song. The choice was "Could It Be Love" by the Jamaican music legend Bob Marley. The catchy melody and the rhythmic section were then played in the live performance through products that are directly related to the brand. We used the latest technology to creatively incorporate bananas or coconuts into the performance. Exactly the same applies to the beverage cans which we also integrated as sound generators.
A music video was created from all these ideas in connection with the catchy composition. We recorded the video in our sound studio in Berlin.
